Man Hunt

Captain Alan Thorndike (Walter Pidgeon) is a renowned British big game hunter. He is hunted by the Nazis in a bid to kill Adolf Hitler. He eludes his German pursuers and reaches a port, steals a rowboat and swims to a Danish ship about to sail for London. When he is tortured, he warns of "questions being asked in high places" if he is killed, as his brother, Lord Risborough, is a diplomat.
