Description: The central ideas running through is program are as follows: Our conflict is created by inward contradictory desires –what is and what should be. It is only when the mind and heart are totally empty that it can comprehend, that it can live. To be completely empty is the highest form of intelligence. We are afraid of life, relationship, death. Afraid of what has happened, or will happen. One is not afraid of the immediate. Our fear is connected to the observer which is the center of our accumulated memory, experience, and information. Living, love, and death all go together –you cannot separate death from love and living. The center, the “me,” the ego, the person –that psychological center is what one is afraid of losing in death. We are not frightened of the unknown, but frightened of losing the known.
