This 1970s news footage for KMOL-TV (now WOAI-TV) features the Little People Puppet Co., a puppetry troupe founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 1971. The performers demonstrate how to operate different kinds of puppets, including hand puppets, Bunraku puppets, and a marionette who dances to a song from Disney’s Pinocchio. The footage ends with excerpts of a rehearsal or performance, including what appears to be a puppet version of Little Red Riding Hood.
