Through the eyes of Margaret and Willie the film shows that handicapped people have the same basic emotions, feelings, desires and needs as everyone else., Shows and discusses the feelings and attitudes of a group of physically handicapped people in an English institution for the disabled. Emphasizes the fact that physically handicapped people have the same feelings and needs as normal people. Focuses on the love of a young man and woman who have cerebral palsy. Their struggles to obtain freedom and privacy are documented.
