Life in an aquarium

Description: Setting up, stocking and maintaining a class-room aquarium. Explains how fish breathe under water, and illustrates the difference between lungs and gills; how fish use their tails and fins for locomotion; the stages in the development of the frog from the tadpole; and how water snails move about and protect themselves. Designed to implement the science curriculum of the lower elementary grades.
