Letters from Poland

Description: The story of a young Polish immigrant and her struggle to build a new life in the harsh environment of post World War II Sydney. The film raises a number of themes: the loneliness of being in a foreign land; the special isolation of a migrant woman and the dislocation of a single mother needing to support both herself and her child.
