Learning discriminations and skills

Presents laboratory tests in which pigeons are taught to discriminate between stimuli and are trained to develop specific skills. Compares the learning process of pigeons with that of human beings in similar learning situations, showing that the basic principles of stimulus discrimination and response differentiation are generally the same in any organism.
