Helen, a telegraph operator, is the victim of a spiteful railroad employee fired for misconduct. He cuts the locomotive's brakes so that the train is unable to stop. Episode 9 was first released Jan 9 , 1915, and this Blackhawk Films reprint also includes introductory text on the background of the film with particular interest to railroad enthusiasts. It was filmed on location in Cajon Pass, California. Producer J.P McGowan also stars as the 'villain'.
