Complete Record: A yellowed leaf dangles from a limb against the background of mountains in Yosemite. Then we see flower pods, reeds, a clump of grass in a stream, leaves of another tree in the radiance of autumn. Then a shot of dear grazing. Suddenly they look up. The wind is rising. They dash off. The grass blows wildly and the leaf separates from the tree. It drifts across a rock and into the air. It waltzes to the music as it’s carried by the wind... until it finally settles on a stream and swirls as the current grows stronger... then into the darker shadows. The film ends as the leaf disappears into the darkness.
