Uses still photography, stock footage, and contemporary footage to present the history of Eastern European Jews in the last hundred years, showing their life in ghettos, their struggle against war, deportation, and concentration camps, and their quest for freedom in the State of Israel. Points out the manner in which ORT has been tied to the destiny of these people.
