Description: In this program, Miss Myers and Jose Limon explain the language of the dance – the language of movement. They introduce the basic elements of the dancer’s material – human emotion – and show how it can be transformed into a dance movement for one person, a group of dancers, and an entire company. This program features the television premiere of Jose Limon’s ballet “There is a Time,” for which Norman Dello Joio composed his Meditations on Ecclesiastes.
