Description: Shows Great Lakes ore boats and their part in winning World War II. Ore is scooped up by giant shovels and loaded on cars to be taken to the ore boats at Duluth. The boats leave port, later pass through the locks of Sault Sainte Marie, then go to the steel mills where the ore is turned into iron and steel for armaments.
