here's some more lamb mr. the birth of the Buffalo stuff was in know yeah did you label it I labeled it I always live in Canada but the production company the director the production number put it on the cans occurred on the reels see under the wednesday sale this is not a pleasant surprise mad at me you know I've been working like about 15 hours a day on commenting students um this is the last footage okay so you need it processed you need a one light real friend right sure okay now your name again Steven Kodak what color Kodak color what though there's different types of stock 16 mil 16:9 yeah but you know the stock number like 7 to something oh sure yeah dial 9 to get out yeah yeah I need to know the number right yeah 72 47 right exactly 72 47 okay now when do you need it tomorrow would be tomorrow this time yeah okay that's fine sure um is is there any way I could sort of keep an eye on this Gary you know and like learn about lab I mean would be no I can't let you do that it's really a regular well I won't get in anybody's way or anything I just wanna sort of you know well I'd like to do this leader and after I give they're in this machine right there is little but after we'll be here right your film and your film comes through this elevator but across this bridge through this machine this is the process yes professor ooty bingo Barbara now I not need no more here no no no everything is in there I you must no no not that [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] excuse me sir excuse me mustard I was looking for a film it's kind of hard work I know you this is negative you need positive would you joking please what am I supposed to do with this you take it and give to printer to printer where's that upstairs [Music] oh yeah you know what you do is you take your work cart down to processing work my nautical sense your the process you make goes up to the wall and that goes and after your work prints processed you got to take it up to Quality Control okay you know maybe you should take one of those lab tours Harry says I learn a lot more if I do it like this Harry don't know nothing [Music] are you genie is this quality control yeah you're supposed to run my my films dinnertime you probably heard about so there you go that's a joke that's an old industry Joe [Music] okay how come how come this thing has got two images like that when the squatches are there anything this is a good this is where he's driving home from work he's driving and he doesn't know a thing he's a bad driver all he's gonna hack he's a good actor worried yeah you know the actors do really fine job no I mean oh that too [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you lost no just thinking do you think that any of these films will ever get out of here how long have you been in this business I've got to get there teenis have you transferred to your sound yet no it's not my truck I got my work print right here oh the sudden doesn't need your work print no I was just telling you I've got my work print good idea make your editing a lot harder if you left it here yeah sure [Music] don't you worry kid we're gonna make it to LA Jack yeah is that you yeah hi Oh guess what I've got a leg of lamb for dinner Joe yeah I've got something you need to tell you I'm in love with another woman sorry Joe but I oh I forgot what is it God Authority Steve all right jack let's do it again just do it one more time this is Bruce again screw take two was no good we're gonna do take 3 no talk yeah just back up something see that's the whole thing about making your thriller right I mean it's got a shape people it's it's got a completely shaped them right down to the roots right I mean audiences want that they want to be moved right they're not they're not interested in anything mamby-pamby yeah yeah I saw something like that on Hitchcock about 10 years ago very much like that sort of thing well I'm updating it right it's gotta be relevant for today's audience me it should work well here's your sound you've got your work print sue needs an editor now and you're going to edit it Farah great push your luck look I appreciate it okay and we'll see you later fine yeah [Music] [Music] hi my name's Steve Wilson I've got an appointment Barry Jones my crew my mic's yeah okay great oh my god people just don't drive music I got dialog I got to fix they're all March so let's put the dialog up first church now like the dialog is is important I mean it carries a story right it's a drawing and the effects too but the main thing when we're mixing this is it's a music the music and this is just absolutely fantastic and there's solid gold this is the picture it goes on the project oh yeah well here I want to get you this this stuff is fantastic when you listen to this it's gonna blow you right away you know so you know what we should maybe do maybe we should sit down and just listen to it because I like for you to get a feel for it as you wish you're the one that's paying by the hour well maybe we'll just yeah you'd be better that way more spontaneous right so here you just and another thing I'm meeting her downtown I won't be home for supper okay just run it on back right here's where that music I was telling you about comes in I want you to bring the music in just after his line right where she pulls the thing all right I said I'm meeting her yet it's her mind another thing I'm eating her downtown that's all I can get up Wow that's it Wow well I see everything's relative and a few if you want the effect of more music we'll have to hold the sound effects in the dialogue down a little bit okay okay I'm easy if that's what I can do is what I meant how did I get to timing well that's up on the third floor and just ask for Bruce okay look in this next shot right she puts the lamb in the oven okay there's all these bubbles and sounds right that's gotta come right just she opens the door you're the timer right yeah Oh within just a second sure uh you're making an inspection right no I'm running down scene descriptions for the color analyzer I'll just take all the time you want all this stuff has been a and B role already to checkerboarded where'd you get those clubs I gotta get some of those messy stuff they're warm like that's the whole reason why I'm in the film in the first place you know it's because I want to do something that's moving hey she's alright that's surely surely that's our color reference standard we take any negative and we match it up to that oh we use avoid skin tone though oh oh I thought she working that's like a test pattern oh oh no oh this is terrible it's muddy this is horrible we can't use this oh I didn't even know we shot that that's Oh what's this living this machine takes a negative and change the electronic link to a positive oh I thought my can't invite the cameraman is kind of a freak right so it having a bit worried man okay we're coming up to a place is very important here right right here right here the stove right the murder weapon is in in stones very important so we want headiness foreboding right right if anything red really just a touch of red whatever you think is good but how about that yeah that's good one okay okay okay yeah right now we're coming on coming on that's the black leader between the two shots right okay this guy's the inspector I want grim grim very grim grim yeah that's good that's good that's good okay okay he's looking for clues right okay he goes through the parlor there okay there he's looking for clues around the diner okay now she's seizing like she is the murderer right right some grim okay now how do you remember all that stuff well we log it down on the time and cheap we take the color information to transfer at the computer tape for the printer far out okay so we're all finished right yeah where am I supposed to I take the originals right and the optical track dump the printing Department the optical track you mix oh the mix the thing and I did with Barry right okay what about this - and the computer tapes go down there with each other right okay thanks Hey Bruce yeah anybody the ending okay okay thanks it's just going to take your home [Music] I'm just a watch [Music] it's a crapshoot [Music] so [Music] main light source comes through here that's right here covers down into three primary colors being those are just good trim cards every print stock has a different right water you set that up down here right sure the color balance is amazing [Music] snagger expensive yeah very expensive [Music] jeez if you'd all us in the dark right the whole thing the club look it says printing now right right so what this is doing is fixing my a role by biro and my optical soundtrack the one I so film and all I say Russa that's so that's what I'm going to see finally right I guess I should probably organize some time when I'm gonna be able to see it [Music] watch the door yeah I guess I just kind of feel it rather so she won't she won't find this technique but I turn hey look look I can afford a tripod if I wanted to I could you really you saying there's something technically no I'm not singing I know more technically more I'm about all right look I know the composition the sound sound right when Zeus lovely dinner it's an old family thank you right did you find anything in the garden today actually I didn't but I think we'll find the murder weapon and how did you do well I didn't find anything in the house that's the more lambda2 show [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you very much please cash your checks these [Applause] I'm very beautiful [Music] no no no no it's a thriller even with Starbound productions No well actually right now you see I'm in my office but you I'm getting ready to leave yeah I've got
