Description: KTBC radio and television served the Austin community by providing news and entertainment to those tuning in to the station. These segments contain a variety of musical and artistic performances filmed for the Christmas season. Performances include ballerina Barbara Carson dancing to selections from the Nutcracker, a choral group singing – amongst other things – Oh, Holy Night and Silent Night; as well as the Longhorn Band playing Holiday for Winds and an excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s sixth symphony.
