[Music] gra sweet the [Music] s that [Music] like [Music] me want [Music] no I'm fall blind but now I see [Music] [Music] [Music] I [Music] I God open there I could see [Music] I woke me up me up [Music] morning I [Music] see talk [Music] I had lost some of the reasons I guess for which I go to church I would go to church and when I come back home I would still feel a void and so ultimately I was in my own way seeking another way maybe another institution where I could realize the type of fulfillment that I wanted to in a church and then came the corer idea of Fellowship in the community with the whole Community participating God as our head and the Bible as our major source of text and information [Music] so good when I think about the time I didn't have a d the Lord step right on I [Music] can't he's and he woke me up this up this me on my way on my way he gave me [Music] to me way so [Music] good I think we're trying to make that term corer real more than just being a Sunday morning church Our concern is to really be active in the community to really open up the doors and uh have the experience of dealing with our brothers and sisters every day not just on Sunday because Sunday is more of a celebrating uh religious celebration uh from 11: to 1 we celebrate enjoying all of the things we've done for our brothers and sisters during the the week but right now being a part of the cornerer community it should be our concern to say thank you God for all of your goodnesses amen and at the same time of saying thank you God remember my brothers and my sisters in the community help me to be able to reach out and Touch Somebody those who wish can come forward to the altar making that first step of reaching out and keep in our minds Lord have mercy upon me and when we pray don't pray for ourselves but let us pray for our brothers let us pray for this courage that is needed that we may be the instrument of change that we may be the stimuli to a new concern of love a new concern not of competition but a concern of cooperation [Music] when we're working in the community Lord we're trying to love one another [Music] [Music] [Music] spe we have an idea called everybody is somebody it's based on the fact that all men are in the image of God no matter what his color is no matter what that is he's in the image of God and by the fact that he's in that image he is somebody and it's up to us those who somewhat know where we are and who we are to help that brother affirm who he is as I study deeper with this more sincere the scripture trying to understand the lifestyle of Jesus why when I study him I see the man in him I I I can understand the manhood in him we do have our own ideas about Jesus being God but I understand him as the man and uh and as a liberator I understand him as a rugged person not as a as a very humble feminine looking thing that we see all the time in in our in our in some of the things we see in our community on pictures of this type of thing but I can understand him and that that is the type of thing that helps me affirm my manhood is trying to live as much and as close as I can to him [Music] don't treat me like they used to since I my Downs don't treat me like used to I Lay My down I feel that the corer ideal is a reciprocal kind of experience whereby you need the community and you feel that the community needs you and therefore we have one outreach program now where by the Sunday school goes into the green geriatric Health Center each Sunday morning for a discussion a Sunday school type experience with the patients who live there give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our Deb and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen amen now let's see what does that really mean when we say Our Father Who Art in Heaven to the Supreme Being in heaven the man that made us the God of all and a't but one God and he is God of all now we come to the part thy kingdom come thy will be done what are we saying then I said we're telling the Lord that we are grateful for what he's doing and what is what is going to be done and we we must accept that as a a blessing from him and so thus the idea was born that we would start a new church and see if we couldn't um get around to doing some of the things that we felt needed to be done so that we could get some fulfillment us feel like we had contributed something because even then I feel like as a Christian you should be giving service and substance and have you ever had the beautiful experience of how wonderful it is when you give something to somebody that they really need I believe that everybody needs love don't you believe everybody needs love how would you feel if you woke up in the morning and felt that nobody cared about you if your nurse didn't come in the morning and wouldn't you feel bad Mighty surely you'll feel bad if you woke up in the morning and the person next to you didn't say good morning or how do you do wouldn't that make you feel badly so we need to continue to develop our talent of love and and never let it go unnoticed unattended we want to keep our love life burning all of the time we want to always remember that regardless of what happen we want to keep on loving because God is love he made us in His image there is a part of God in all of us and for that reason alone we can continue to love and that's something nobody can take away from us and thank you so much for coming out this morning you know each time time I leave you I feel so uplifted because you've done so much for me we felt that there was a need for us to go out and when we got there we found that there was a need for them to let us in and the participation that we have experienced from the people who live there is indescribable corer Community also uh includes in its whole ideal training programs printing typing political education program preventive drug education program it includes spiritual uh workshops workshops in developing spiritual life the spiritual life one this evening Heavenly Father we come to turn thee some humble and sincere thanks we thank theom the whole uh life of a human being but it's all done in a with with an air or feeling of Love fellowship and participation and I think this is what the whole idea of Jesus was all about that would teach us how to share what we have with those who less fortunate than us father we ask I would teach us how to love even those who DES spitefully use us father for we realize that love will overcome all these faults father we ask that I would bless this our church bless each and every organization bless each and every member and allow us to be that light in this in the community that's needed father then when I've done all you've assigned my heart and hands to do save me in th Kingdom where I can praise thee throughout eternity forever and ever amen secure from all [Music] sa and secure [Music] all oh bright [Music] the day [Music] to on the ever [Music] [Music] the [Music] everas we can take god with us wherever we go in our own limited way and in this way we be letting our light shine for him and I think that's the way all people should be because God made us all he's the father of us all and that makes all of us sisters and brothers and if we are sisters and brothers we are not strangers to each other and we should be able to reach out touch each other and anticipate the needs of each other and love each other and I want us to keep on trying to grasp the corer idea and continue to Endeavor or to try somewh way to learn how to get God out of the [Music] [Applause] church the blood of glor to name glory to his name precious name glory to [Music] go stay on him stay on him don't let him relax break break beautiful beautiful beautiful come on let's go move over B come onve good good grab time grab move in even with working with our young people my concern is develop it's a bad word it's a no no word in in in in in this Society revolutionaries is develop young brothers and sisters to be revolutionaries under an understanding of Jesus Jesus Christ because any system that puts down people Jesus spoke against we're trying to train those young people how to be that type of revolutionary not only how to speak against the oppressor but how to put down the oppressive mechanisms or techniques that come about how to [Music] organize man has to lay down his life really he has to lay down down his life for his brother if he wants to understand the kingdom if he wants to understand picking up and bearing the cross that's what the cross is all about a lot of people lay around the cross but very few people want to pick up the cross sure that's more comfortable the monitor's doing I spend at least onethird of my life at the hospital that of course give me a lot of time to practice and exhibit my limited Christianity there well I believe the onetoone relationship that I would like to have with other people is what God intends for us to have with one another like any father with his children they are all equal he loves them all and if God is the father of us all he expects us to have that kind of relationship you can't fall unless I fall if you fall I can't get up unless you get up we see each other on a parallel and on horizontal equal equality because that's the way God intends for it to be [Music] [Music] ever all [Music] too long we fought skirmishes in the Battle For Freedom too long we play games in the battles and lost the war in the battle for manhood too long we have raised our fists at the corporate and political Giants of society too to long we have done all these things without God too long we've done these things without the power of our heavenly father who represents the power of a rolling stone you see this morning man I want you to understand that yes we must be free yes we must have dignity yes we must be a liberator not just for the oppressed but for the oppressor but this will never be with until we accept God as our source of power morning I'm calling you to do what the old man used to say Get Right get right with God and then he turns around and said get right and do it now for if you decide to do it now guess what he'll show you how and this morning not only get right with God but this morning I want you to Reach Out And Touch Somebody touch somebody if you can yes L if you can't touch somebody Lord give me a clean heart so that I may Touch Somebody Lord give me a clean heart so that I can be used by thee Lord give me a clean heart so that I can continue to love no matter how you hate me I can love you no matter I can still love you Lord give me a clean heart so I can be used though I am Unworthy of these blessings give me a clean heart heart yes Lord Reach Out And Touch Lord give me a clean heart dear heavenly father as we come to a close we want you to know dear Lord we are so grateful we're so thankful for all the things you've done for us and as we leave this morning Lord we ask that you would go with us as we praise thee in our love and our caring for our brother wherever he may be dear heavenly father give us the strength to stand the problems that come before us give us the strength to love even when we are hated give us the strength to love even when we ridiculed or cast down help us Lord to praise thee praise thee at home at work at play dear heavenly father walk with us this day talk with us this day be with us Lord in everything that we do this is our prayer [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] like [Music] f for [Music] [Music] [Music]
