Description: Original camera footage edited for broadcast for KNTV San Jose Channel 11 news on November 10, 1966. The broadcast script for this date has not survived. Reel 1: Segment 1 (silent): San Jose Fire department personnel take part in a training exercise involving a man on a stretcher wired up with tubes of fake blood. They congratulate themselves afterwards as he towels himself off. Segment 2 (silent): Reagan supporter being carted down the street in a wheelbarrow wearing a straw boater with a "Reagan" ribbon around it. Segment 3 (silent): Men on a ladder on an ice rink, fixing the glass surrounds. Men at podium, clapping. Followed by hockey footage between the San Francisco Seals [or California Seals] and the San Diego Gulls, likely at the Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum Arena. Segment 4 (sound): Interview with [Stanford University] college football coach whose first name is Dick, talking about their upcoming game against UCLA, and their player Gene Washington. Reel 2: Segment 1 (sound): Inside a small theater, where a musical group is playing onstage. Two men in the audience try to explain what's going on. The reporter asks what someone gets out of "a happening," but the man corrects him and says this is more than that, it's about communication through music. Segment 2 (sound): Interview with Spencer Williams, who has lost his campaign, but says he's thinking about running for Attorney General in 1970. He says his opponent ran a very smart and good campaign. Segment 3 (silent): Auditorium filled with people, a few men in military uniform can be seen standing, small room with people mingling including judges in robes. Reel 3: Segment 1 (sound): Men talking about the tax assessor situation in Santa Clara County and saying that he's only criticizing the method in which these things are handled; says something to the effect of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors asking for help from the state. Segment 2 (silent): Shots of an automobile exhibition or trade show, where U.S. Air Force space rockets and vehicles are on display alongside automobiles and motors. Segment 3 (silent): Large palm tree being pulled down near St. James Park in San Jose. A bird's nest appears to be inside the tree, discovered once it is on the ground. Segment 4 (sound): Physician speaking about anxiety and depression in patients and the general public, distinguishing between general nervousness and a clinical disorder.
