Kirtland's Warbler (Bird of Fire)

Relates the history of this rare bird, a small songbird that primarily lives in the lower peninsula of Michigan, and shows the effort to create a habitat for them by planting jack pines and burning specific areas to allow natural jack pine growth. It also shows efforts to contain nest parasitism by cowbirds.
