A drama about a conniving Scot who kidnaps his nephew and attempts to ship him to the Carolinas as a slave. Setting, Scotland in 1751.
Young David Balfour arrives with sealed letter from his father for Ebenezer, his uncle, to introduce David as the rightful heir to the family estate. Ebenez conspires with a sea captain, Hoseason, to take the boy hostage and sell him into slavery. David soon meets Alan Breck, who, in need of rescue, now finds himself in danger of stealing his gold and perhaps murdering him as well.
