Description: Kevin Early was born with a short be low-elbow amputation of his left arm and a short below-knee amputation of his right leg. The film traces his prosthetic development from infancy to age four including the change from a step-up elbow hinge arm to one with a pre-flexed elbow. Kevin is shown in therapy sessions, nursery school, his home, the swimming pool, and at play. Also, he is shown being fitted for his prostheses. Golden Eagle Award, CINE, 1966.
