Description: Films Juan Quezada, a pottery maker in northern Mexico, as he creates a pot in the ancient Casa Grandes tradition. Follows Mr. Quezada as he gathers and makes clay, builds the pot, paints it, oils and burnishes it with a smooth river pebble, and finally fires the pot in a kerosene-soaked pile of cow chips. Narrates the intricacies of the pot-making process.
