The film not only includes the Japanese surrender on the USS Missouri (BB-63) in Tokyo Bay, the celebration in Manhattan's Times Square, and a parade in Red Square Moscow. Some of the people shown in the film include: Admiral William Halsey, Winston Churchill, Harry S. Truman, Stalin, Lt. Gen. Kawabe, Lt. Gen. R.K. Sutherland, Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces Gen. Douglas MacArthur, Foreign Minister Shigemitsu, Lt. Gen. J.M. Wainwright, Lt. Gen. A.E.
