Description: Focuses on Jane Kennedy, a Chicago nurse, who put her personal freedom in jeopardy by taking part in civil rights marches and antiwar demonstrations. Observes Jane marching for better schools and housing for black Americans and participating in protests against the Vietnam War as she explains her belief that people are not powerless.
