Description: In this film from the late 1950s and early 1960s, the Maloy children play games, visit a carnival, and even create a short narrative film. The film includes footage of Boy Scout Troop 33 of St. Ignatius Church in Austin, to which the Maloys belonged. The boys participate in a flag folding ceremony, go canoeing on the river, and hang around their campsite. Much of this footage takes place outside of Texas, as the family vacations in various spots. They begin in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they visit the Hoover Dam and drive through the downtown area. They also visit the Four Corners, several historic movie theaters in New Mexico, and the Durango & Silverton Railroad in Colorado.
