Ishi in two worlds

This film discusses the Yahi Indians of California, a tribe which was nearly exterminated by the advance of the white man. Depicting their daily activities, particularly hunting and fishing, the documentary focuseson the the life of Ishi, a Yahi tribesman and the last person in North America known to have spent most of his life as an aborigine. Appearing suddenly outside the town of Oroville, he was taken to the Museum of Anthropology at the University of California where he spent the rest of his life.
