Iowa State University Fall Commencement Ceremony, December 17, 2011

Description: Gregory Geoffroy, President of Iowa State University, presides over the combined graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony held on December 17, 2011 in Hilton Coliseum. An estimated 1,650 students receive degrees. University of Northern Iowa President Ben Allen speaks to the graduates. Allen, a former Iowa State faculty member, College of Business dean, and provost, also receives a Doctor of Humane Letters from the university for excellence in educational leadership and for scholarly contributions to the field of transportation and logistics.
