Introducing the Brasses

Describes and illustrates the musical characteristics and operating principles of a brass quintet. Presents members of the New York Brass Quintet who introduce a young audience to the trumpet, trombone, French horn and tuba. Demonstrates how the various instruments are used through the playing of five compositions.
