Leonard Bernstein points out that for hundreds of years composers have been making thousands of different pieces and no two are exactly alike, although all are built upon the same 12 tones. The orchestra performs Strauss's 'DEATH AND TRANSFIGURATION' and trio from 'DER ROSENKAVALIER,' and the finale from the 'FIFTH SYMPHONY' by Shostakovich. (Kinescope).
