Description: Produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association and the National Weather Service, this film provides a glimpse into efforts by the officials at the National Weather Service and National Hurricane Center in Miami to track hurricanes and provide warnings to coastal residents. Through the use of satellite imagery, NOAA reconnaissance flights, and radar technology, officials are able to track a hurricane from its birth to landfall and warn citizens to make preparations or evacuate their homes.
