Explains with the aid of animated diagrams and live demonstration the processes of: ventilation--the pumping of blood in and out of the lungs, and diffusion--the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide within the lungs. Also shows the effects of varying needs for oxygen on the respiratory system.
