How to animate a gingerbread boy

Description: Demonstrates and explains the technique of motion picture animation. Intended for classroom use, this film illustrates various animation methods ranging from very simple to advanced and presents them in a way that explains the technical mysteries and permits the student to focus on the art of animation. The methods include cut-out, three-dimensional and time-lapse. A version of the gingerbread boy is told through the use of the various animation techniques discussed. (Ages 7-11 years.)
