Complete Record: By the 1700’s the French had come to Canada and down the Mississippi, the Dutch along the Hudson shore, the Swedes the Delaware, the Spanish to Mexico and the English to settle on the Atlantic coast. These people worked hard to establish a good life in the towns and on the farms, learning much from the Indians.
