Homeboys (Part 1 of 2)

Portrays a Chicano youth gang. A film about brotherhood, strength, and the Chicano struggle for identity in American culture. Depicts life in Cuatro Flats, a housing project in East Los Angeles. Includes sequences on various aspects of gang life, including the violence of gang warfare, the meaning of graffiti, low riding on Saturday nights, the new murals of East Los Angeles, a homemade tattoo parlor, and the wedding of a homeboy.
