Description: This home movie dates to 1950 and shows the aftermath of the Rose Parade, neon signs in Hollywood, and what might be 1950 New Year's fireworks. After each Rose Parade it is traditional to have the floats parked for public view, and this film shows multiple floats from :10 to 7:20. At 7:25, dazzling shots of neon signs in Hollywood including the Hollywood Recreation Center bowling alley at 7:35, the Broadway Hotel in Hollywood at 7:41, 7-Up at 7:46, Melody Lane at 7:50, the famous neon of Beryl Wallace at the Earl Carroll Theater at 7:56, Sunset Bowling at 8:00, Chicken in the Rough at 8:12. After 8:35 are fireworks.
