Description: This color home movie is about a trip to Wickenburg, Arizona and the Monte Vista Ranch in 1938. The Monte Vista Ranch was a dude ranch operation that catered to tourists from the East, including horseback riding, roping training, and cowboy demonstrations. The ranch is now part of a subdivision neighborhood in Wickenburg. The first part of the film the film was loose in the gate of the camera, so it is sub-standard. The second roll of film onward is fine. Title: Wickenburg, Arizona 1938 (:08). Monte Vista Ranch (:12). Mountains and hills at dusk (:32). Men and women walk around outside a cabin (1:07).
