Description: Description: Documentation of a political congress in black and white contrast with vivid Kodachrome touristic sequences. At the World Congress of Women in Copenhagen of 1953, women from many parts of the world including Africa, Asia, and Europe are shown gathered by the hundreds in a huge auditorium and at outdoor venues. Between documentation sequences of the political congress are home movie scenes of leisure travel in Netherlands and Denmark showing the city streets of Amsterdam and rural scenery including windmills, canals, houseboats, and Fredensborg Palace in Denmark. Also with a flood damage sequence.
