Description: On Mt. Tamalpais in Marin, four people and a Boston Terrier take the Mt. Tamalpais & Muir Woods Railway up the mountain and then film it in motion, before ascending the wooden footpath to the summit. Next they explore the beaches and hills of San Francisco and Monterey County. Includes footage of the wreck of the Ohioan near Land's End in San Francisco. Most footage is by a couple that appreciates the natural landscape as well as their charismatic dog. Includes high angle pans of the northern San Francisco waterfront and Bay beyond before any bridges were built.
