High-speed motion picture of the human vocal chords

Description: Speech, to the telephone engineer, is a commodity that must be picked up in one place and delivered promptly, cheaply and in good condition to another. For a number of years members of the Bell Telephone Laboratories have been investigating the properties of speech and this film shows the use of high-speed motion picture photography in this important area.
