A friendship between two young girls turns cold over a misunderstanding. When Amy is led to believe that Karen said something mean about her, she responds with the cold shoulder. Then Karen is perplexed because she doesn't know why her best friend has suddenly become a stranger. A live-action adaptation of the book by Charlotte Zolotow.
