Description: Records the operations of the last of the great gold dredges, Yuba no. 20, a huge, floating gold-processing plant. Shows how the dredge digs a large, deep pond in one of the ancient river beds of the Sacramento Valley, separates and collects the gold and moves slowly ahead while filling in the area behind it with long, neat rows of clean, smooth rock.
