Description: Designed to present basic sounds of German on a simple grammatical level, by means of a dialogue between two people in a coffee shop. Employs simple sentences with the present tense only. The two-minute scene is first repeated sentence by sentence. Then the English translation is shown, and the original German sentence is spoken; the speaker next turns toward the camera and repeats the sentence; then a close-up of the speaker's mouth is shown as he again repeats the sentence; finally the German words are shown as the speaker says them a fourth time.
