Description: Georgia InternationaleA WGTV production for the U.S. Bicentennial covering various ethnic groups in Georgia. From the AJC 6/23/76: "Funded by a grant from the Georgia Commission for the National Bicentennial celebration as part of Festival USA, the half-hour program shows national groups in the state keeping their heritage alive. Host of the show will be Helene Adams, a native of France, who has been named American Fighting Woman of the Front Line for her service in the French Resistance during World War II. The Atlanta Turkish community was filmed during a festival in which dancers and singers are in native costumes. Finns show their handicrafts and sing folk songs, and the Hungarian colony is shown doing native dances. The Greeks were filmed as worship in the Greek Orthodox Church, and many nations are represented in a performance by the International Polka Society."
