Description: Flight controllers simulate a Gemini launch abort, while recovery forces routinely retrieve a boilerplate model of the Gemini spacecraft. Gemini VIII completes the historic docking in space. The dual launches - Agena and Gemini - are related with a montage of the planned landing areas. Cameras record the harrowing experiences of astronauts Armstrong and Scott due to the excessive roll rates of Gemini VIII. The USS Mason recovers the astronauts in the Pacific.
