Garden plants and how they grow

Description: Illustrates general principles of plant growth. Examines the interior of a seed; distinguishes plants which store food in their stems, leaves, roots and seed pods; compares plants grown in good and poor soil and in sunlight and shade; shows destructive animals and insects and those which are helpful to plants.
