Description: Bash tells why more games are played in the United States than any other country in the world. She says this is because immigrants brought the games of their native lands with them when they migrated here. She shows how games make for friendship among children of different countries. Hopscotch, jacks, checkers and football are included and the fun of making up your own games or rhymes and songs for old games is brought out. The Lillian Patterson dance group dances to several games. Songs include “Round and Round the Mulberry Bush,” “The Riddle Song,” and “Bluebells.”
