Complete Record: Robert McClellan, a young American boy who would rather play soccer than think about democracy, and Floriano Do Santos, the young son of a political refugee, join forces to campaign for the money for a school bond issue. Together they learn much about American freedoms, the democratic system, and human rights. Meanwhile Floriano's father, despite the personal danger, returns to his homeland to help his people. The election night news teaches the boys another important lesson in basic human rights and an appreciation for American freedoms.
