Complete Record: documents how officials of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, The Indian Claims Commission and a lawyer representing the Pit River Indian action of Northern California obtained from the tribe a land settlement that many and perhaps most of its members did not want. The point of view is sympathetic toward the Indians, revealing fraud, legal maneuvers, and oppression. most interesting are the interviews with many Indians and persons involved with the settlement. The U.S. Officials explain the government's position. The film ends with the note that the Indians are not giving up.
