Description: This 1930s film follows the journey of a district nurse on her rounds visiting families in rural Kentucky. She visits homes, tending to the sick, children receiving inoculations, delivering packages and helping to build a crib. She also crosses the Kentucky River on horseback, tending to an injured man in the woods and taking him to the hospital for surgery. Finally, she rides her horse at night through the woods, carrying a lamp. We digitized and uploaded this film from the A/V Geeks 16mm Archive.
