Content Description
Coach’s show from the 1987 season featuring South Carolina head coach Joe Morrison. This show was taped after the football game played between the University of S. C. and Virginia and shows highlights from the game with commentary from Coach Joe Morrison and host Jim Forest. Includes short flashbacks from games played by USC in Georgia in 1979 and from 1975 against Duke. This tape also contains television commercials. Includes a Gamecock Flashback from a 1981 game against NC State. Label on back of box says: “Week Six”, “USC vs Virginia”, 30 minute tape.

This collection includes 16mm film and video shot by the University of South Carolina's Athletic Department from the 1940s to the 1990s. Most of the films document UofSC's football and basketball programs; a handful document the University's track-and-field program. The majority of films and videos show games played by the Fighting Gamecocks, both football and basketball teams, and include full games and highlights, with defensive and offensive wide shots, for training, scouting and recruitment purposes, as well as special events in the athletic calendar.
