Content Description This is footage from South Carolina head coach Joe Morrison’s weekly coach’s show, hosted by TV personality Jim Forest. After each game, Jim Forest would sit down with Head Coach of the University of South Carolina Football Team, Joe Morrison, and discuss the highlights from the previous game. This footage is the show from week 11 of the 1988 season and depicts the highlights from the game played on November 12, 1988 between United States Naval Academy and the University of South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks beat the Navy Midshipmen 19-8. Notable features from this film are interviews with Derrick Little (9:26), Antonio Walter (12:02), and Carl Platt (21:15). Along with his interview, Antonio Walter can be seen blocking a punt and returning the loose ball for a touchdown. Also, featured in a “Gamecock Flashback” is one of the most iconic plays in Gamecock history, Brad Edwards intercepting Clemson quarterback Rodney Williams for a Gamecock TD (23:49).
