Boxer Paul Callan is deaf when he wins a fight for the first time. Boxer's girlfriend Sonya Bartow and manager Pop Richardson agree to train him. Sonya threatens to kill Ann Hollis if she doesn't leave Paul alone. A doctor performs an operation that restores Paul's hearing. Paul rallies to win the fight with Logan, the champ.
